Terme Tuhelj Hotel Well

I had booked an extra night here following a weekend organised by Croatian friends at this hotel. I wanted to enjoy the sauna facilities at leisure. As it happened the hotel also gave me a better room for the night I booked through Booking.com. We were very happy in the hotel but I'm sure it is even better in the summer when one has a chance to appreciate the outdoor facilities and beautiful scenery.

The property is perfectly settled into the countryside scenery. Very comfortable rooms. Staff generally polite and helpful. On arrival, we got a complimentary upgrade to a premium room with a balcony. Spa area very calming and my favourite part of the hotel. They serve a very tasty tea.

The hotel itself is great. Nice rooms with balconies, very comfortable beds, large and well-equipped bathrooms... everything you's expect from the hotel in this price range. Breakfast is amazing, with great selection of local produce. They charge for parking in the garage, but there are enough parking spots really close to the hotel, which are absolutely free. There are some restaurants and bars nearby, in case you want to go out to eat or drink.

We were upgraded to Premium room at no extra cost because we booked over Booking.com. The new part of hotel feels very premium and the room was exceptionally clean, quiet and filled with all the neccessary commodities. There were lots of guests, but indoor pools have alot of space and variety for kids and adults. Breakfast, lunch and dinner had lots of various tasty food. Drinks, however, had to be ordered separately.

We liked the hotel overall. The room was nice and peaceful. The breakfast was quite good. The staff were ok. We loved the fact that the saunas weren't overcrowded this time around.
